hurrah
This is good news, in my humble opinion:

From that page:
—
“The term ‘pro-Israel’ has been hijacked by those who hold views that a majority of Americans, Jews and non-Jews alike, oppose,” says executive director Jeremy Ben-Ami, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton.
He says J Street will campaign for a two-state solution to the conflict in the Middle East.
—
It’s about time a high-profile voice was set up for the Jews among us who believe in a peaceful two-state solution and I’m delighted about this.
I don’t get serious on here very often, but it pains me that criticism of Israeli foreign policy is sometimes equated with anti-semitism or, at the very least, not an appropriate opinion for a Jew to hold.
Anyway, this makes me kinda happy ![]()

Apostrophe Debate
As part of my ongoing warfare with regard to erroneous apostrophes, I feel it necessary to bring your attention to the title sequence of ‘The Raccoons’, which I stumbled upon recently on YouTube.

Is this an erroneous apostrophe? Or is it simply an over-elaborate ’s’?
Your opinions are crucial.

Collective Nouns
I have been thinking about collective nouns today (fascinating, I know).
I’d like to offer “a stupidity of Daily Mail readers".
